Gerardo Martinez, Alianzas Program Director, recently joined the Missouri Developmental Disabilities Council (MODDC) as the University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Representative. He succeeds Tom McVeigh in this role.
Gerardo will act as a liaison for UMKC IHD and the board, which meets six times a year to discuss important issues related to DD and community living in Missouri. UMKC IHD values MODDC as an important partner in our work. Gerardo appreciated the warm welcome he received from the Council at his first meeting.
