Facilitating partnerships with Hispanic/Latino communities in Missouri

MISSOURI COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT SOCIETY, ANNUAL CONFERENCE

In Fiscal Year 07-08 the Alianzas director will continue to participate in the executive planning committee of the 2008 annual conference, which will be in Kansas City.  Planning meetings are held on a quarterly basis.  As a result of her participation, greater awareness of University of Missouri Extension and the Alianzas program will continue to be fostered.  Also, University of Missouri Extension, community leaders, and residents will be afforded the opportunity to become more aware of and learn about the Hispanic/Latino culture and the belief systems that emerge in Missouri.
